Britni Wilcher, Ph.D.

Britni Wilcher, Ph.D. is an economist who quantifies economic loss and compensation disparities in employment discrimination and class action matters. She works with attorneys and firms on matters involving statistical disparity analysis, damages quantification, and regulatory impact analysis. She uses econometric methods to quantify damages and evaluate compliance patterns in large-scale payroll and employment datasets. She also conducts pay equity analyses that identify compensation disparities by demographic group.

Prior to litigation consulting, Dr. Wilcher led federal regulatory analyses at the Department of Labor’s OSHA that withstood judicial review and informed European Union medical device policy as lead researcher at the University of Exeter Medical School. She taught at the University of San Francisco as well as at Stanford University, where she completed a postdoctoral fellowship and is currently a Visiting Scholar.

Dr. Wilcher’s academic research applies causal inference methods to health and labor market outcomes. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals including Labour Economics, Health Economics, and Health Affairs Scholar. It has also been cited in congressional testimony and the Economic Report of the President.
