Check conflicts and availability
Give us the case, the parties and your deadline. We run the conflict check immediately and tell you whether we are clear, available, and the right expert — or that we are not.
What happens after you submit
- Immediately — the conflict check. We run the parties you have given us against our matter database and reply with whether we are conflicted, whether we are available against your deadline, and whether we are honestly the right expert for the claim. If we are not, we say so and point you somewhere useful.
- A twenty-minute scoping call, at no cost. We tell you what the record will support and what it will not, before anyone is committed.
- Rates and CV with the proposal. You price the engagement against a defined scope rather than a number in the abstract.
- Engagement letter, then work. You see draft findings before anything is written, so there are no surprises in the served report.
What we need, and what we do not
We need the case name, the case number if it has been filed, and the parties on both sides — including the firms. Without those there is no conflict check to run, which is the entire purpose of this page.
We do not need documents, pleadings, case theory, or anything privileged. In a filed matter the caption and the parties are public. Submitting this form does not create an engagement and does not make us your expert.
If your deadline is inside 21 days
Call (213) 245-1232. Rush matters are triaged first, and a phone call gets you an answer faster than any form will.
Rebuttal and consulting-only work
A meaningful share of our engagements are rebuttal rather than affirmative, and a meaningful share are consulting-only and never disclosed. Tell us which you need at this stage — both the scope and what gets put in writing are different.
Run a conflict check
Party names are what the check runs against. Nothing privileged is requested.
Send us the party names. We clear conflicts immediately.
No engagement, no cost, no sales process. If we're conflicted or not the right expert, we'll say so and point you somewhere useful.
